Over 20 years of fixing Liverpool's phones
When we opened in 2005 there were only a handful of repair shops in Liverpool. Every one of them has since closed. We're still here on County Road, and we think that says more than any advert could.
Humble beginnings
We started out on County Road in 2005 as a small mobile repair shop. The problems were the same ones people walk in with today: liquid damage, broken charging ports and smashed screens. Only the phones have changed. Back then it was the Nokia 3210.
A bigger shop
In 2014 we moved along County Road into the old Sweeps barber shop, next door to the big blue Tropicana chippy. The extra room gave us a proper repair area and more shelf space for the accessories we sell.
Still learning
New models get harder to repair every year. More than twenty years at the bench means we've had our hands on hundreds of different faults, and we're still learning from every one. We've never forgotten where we started, and we still listen to what our customers ask for.

- Experience nobody else has.Other technicians may have been repairing for longer, but as a business we're the only repair shop in Liverpool to have stayed open since 2005. A reputation like that takes years to build.
- Parts we'd fit to our own phones.Plenty of shops fit recycled screens, pulled from broken phones with new glass stuck on top. We don't. We pay extra for the best new and original parts on the market.
- A free screen protector with every screen repair.Every screen (LCD) we replace comes with a tempered glass protector, fitted free. If you drop it again, the protector usually takes the hit. It costs us money and it saves you more.
- Repairs in minutes, not days.We were among the first in Liverpool to offer same-day repairs. Simple jobs such as screens, batteries, charging ports and software installs are usually done within the hour.
- Genuine screens when you want them.Our long-standing UK suppliers mean we can offer both genuine and copy screens. Ask for genuine and that's exactly what you get.
- A guarantee we honour.Every repair comes with a 90-day guarantee on parts. If a part we fitted is faulty, we replace it free of charge. Accidental damage isn't covered.
Meet Phil
Phil owns The Phone Surgery and has been repairing phones and tablets since 2005. He's well known locally after two decades of looking after the public and businesses in the area.
When you call or drop in, you deal with Phil directly. The person who gives you the price is the person who does the repair.
